Marking a significant milestone in rural healthcare delivery, Karnataka’s first Gastroenterology on Wheels initiative was officially launched during a free rural outreach camp in Ramanagara. This mobile medical unit is designed to bring specialized gastroenterology consultation, screening, and early diagnosis directly to underserved rural communities.
The launch reflects a strong commitment to improving access to quality healthcare in remote regions of Karnataka, reducing the need for long-distance travel while promoting early intervention and preventive care. The outreach camp witnessed active community participation and highlighted the growing importance of mobile healthcare solutions in bridging urban–rural healthcare gaps.
