Dr. Amarnath A

Dr Amarnath is a Consultant Medical Gastroenterologist at Bangalore Gastro Centre Hospitals , HSR layout, Bengaluru. He did his MBBS from S Nijalingappa Medical College, Bagalkot and MD in Internal Medicine from Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore. He later completed DrNB in Medical Gastroenterology from Narayana Health City, Bangalore.

Dr Amarnath is an expert in independently performing various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures like upper GI endoscopy, Colonoscopy, variceal and hemorrhoid banding, PEG Insertion, polypectomy, management of GI bleeding, liver and pancreatic diseases among others. Dr. Amarnath is deeply committed to the precise diagnosis and effective treatment of gastrointestinal disorders. His approach prioritizes patient comfort, using minimally invasive procedures designed to reduce pain, accelerate recovery, and minimize hospital stay. He has done various paper and poster presentations and published papers. He was awarded first prize for therapeutic endoscopy video presentation at national conference, ENDOCON 2022. He is a lifetime member of ACG (American College of Gastroenterology), ISG(Indian Society of Gastroenterology), and SGEI ( Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India).
